Why No Hard Bandwidth? - Is this for real?

Because Fishing With a Net hosts many small web sites that do not require large amounts of bandwidth, we currently do not impose hard bandwidth limitations on our customers.  We initially allocate bandwidth based on your purchased web space at a rate of space times 10 for bandwidth allowance. 

For example, a 100mb account is usually allocate 1000mb of bandwidth to start.  Most sites do not even utilize that amount!  However, we monitor the bandwidth and system resource usage of each account on a weekly basis.  If it appears that you are coming close to your current bandwidth limit, we will automatically increase your limit, within reason. We guarantee you bandwidth up to 20 times your storage space free of additional charge.  For example, on a 100mb account, should you require it, up to 2 GB of bandwidth will be allocated to you at NO additional charge. 

If you require even more bandwidth, (for sites that are database or graphic/video intensive), simply contact us.  Depending upon the current load on our severs, we may be able to increase your bandwidth for FREE.  If we are unable to do so, you can purchase the amount of bandwidth you need for only $2.50 per GB, per month.
